Free mind is organized annually by the youth council. It should be a day to be able to express yourself and be yourself.

This year it was held at Fyllingsdalen upper secondary school and the activities this year were beading, grabbing the microphone and painting. In addition, there was Kahoot and lots of nice prizes. Gyros and plenty of snacks were also served. Time passed very quickly. Thanks to all the participants who came and participated of their own accord, we enjoyed ourselves.

The Youth Council brought young people to Vilvite on 16 September. Over 20 young people applied. It was a nice day, where the young people got to try different things. The youth council brought a small snack and enjoyed themselves there for a few hours. The pictures speak for themselves.

13. September Springbrett was at the Youngtalk 2023 conference that we had at Ole Bull Stage, with almost 400 registered. This year's theme was mental health and coping with life. We had talented artists with us who lightened the mood in between the strong stories. The artists we brought with us were: dePresno, Gard Read, Markus Brudvik, Myrtoula Røe and Obim Ogazi. 

Thanks also to all of you who came from schools, organizations and offices around Bergen and the surrounding area, who attended the conference and saw its importance. Next time, we also hope that the media will show up.

We were so incredibly lucky that Høyre made the trip to us in Springbrett for ungdom. We had our partner Fyllingsdalen upper secondary school with us at the meeting.

Among the visitors was city councilor candidate in Bergen, Christine Meyer + parliamentary representative and deputy leader of the Conservative Party, Henrik Asheim.

It was a nice meeting and we are very happy that they took the initiative and time to visit us!

There were both new and old faces who joined the theater group on Thursday. It is every Thursday from 16-18. If you want to join, just contact us! Last year it was a fantastic performance for over 100 people. We can't wait to see what the young people bring this time and what the play will be about. We look forward!

On Tuesday, 17 young people were able to join our archer Hamed and the youth council of the Fana archery club in Kaland. There was a barbecue and lots of fun on this warm August day. At first there was a lot of trial and error by shooting at flashes, then you divided into teams and simply shot at each other, which was incredibly fun!

A fantastic week has been completed.

Monday: We had a great day at Fløien and many thanks to Fløibanen for sponsoring tickets. We played cannonball in Skomakerdiket and got lots of spectators from passers-by and many who had a good laugh. We had a good lunch from Bigbite Bergen Storsenter. Football was also played and the young people got to try out in the canoes. In addition, the weather was beautiful that day.

Tuesday: We were at Høyt og lavt Bergen and had another sunny day. There, the participants were tested for patience, strength and fear of heights. The lunch was included in both bags and a cooler. Thank you very much for us and your patience!

Wednesday: We started the day with a barbecue in Nipedalen. Then we had to challenge the girls against the boys in volleyball, there was a high competitive instinct in all of them. Frisbee golf and other ball games were also carried out and with a loudspeaker that woke up the entire Nipedalen. Then we were picked up by Credo Service with their own private bus and taken to Bowling on the west edge, who always make us feel welcome.

Thursday: Go-kart at Sotra. It was a day of speed and excitement! New drivers got to test their driving skills and experienced drivers got to test their speed! Thank you for your good service and patience!

Friday: Sotra wilderness centre. It was a perfect end to the week of Summer fun. The day consisted of the master of masters, barbecuing, ax throwing and archery. Thank you very much for a wonderful arrangement with you! There was a lot of laughter, commitment and competitive instinct!

It was hard to get everyone to go home that day!

In addition to thanking everyone we visited, I would like to thank the bus driver from Credo Service who drove us safely throughout the week. I would also like to thank all the volunteers and not least the young people who volunteered. It's been super fun and we're already looking forward to next year!

Now is the highlight of the summer for many young people in Bergen. We at Springbrett for Youth are starting the first week of courses in collaboration with Fyllingsdalen upper secondary school. From Monday to Friday, over 100 participants gather in various offers. We arrange both summer school and summer activities in parallel.

This year, the students have had a varied offer such as courses in Norwegian, English, maths, basic traffic courses, photo/video and songwriting with excellent instructors and volunteers.

We at Springbrett for ungdom have been lucky enough to go on a new trip with the Erasmus+ project that we have in collaboration with Fyllingsdalen upper secondary school. It has been a wonderful and educational trip. We have previously received visitors to Bergen from the various countries, and in December last year we were in Tenerife. There have been so many wise minds and nice discussions. In addition, all countries have had visits and offered programs with experiences, presentations and group work. This trip was the last trip to finish the project and each country is now working to finalize their contributions. The contributions must go into a common folder dealing with "SEN". SEN stands for special education needs. It is about people with different needs and how we can facilitate them in the best possible way. Technology has been a major focus in the project. We ourselves have learned so much about aids for different needs that we had no idea existed, the same with different techniques and activities they use in other countries. The countries we have collaborated with are Norway, Portugal, Spain and Greece. We call ourselves ICteam, which stands for inclusion or inclusion as it is in Norwegian. Everyone should be included regardless.

We will now complete a website which will be an international website where all the tools for aids and techniques will be shared. Then a single organisation, sports team, school, mainly around the world, can retrieve and read about various tools that can be of help when working with people with different needs. We are really looking forward to it and will post the website when it is finished.

one of our values in Springbrett for ungdom is that if you want to enjoy - then you have to perform. Since we have a collaboration with IL Norna-Salhus, which helps organize both the Framolekene and the Trond Mohn Games, we got the offer if we could help out this weekend. We didn't say no to that.

We had some young people with us this weekend at Framolekene and Trond Mohn Games. For those who don't know, they are both big athletics events. Trond Mohn Games is also international and big stars usually come.

We were so proud of the young people who volunteered on their days off to help. In addition, we were incredibly lucky with the weather and it was gloriously sunny all weekend. We simply have to thank the young people who helped and received so much good feedback and praise! Thank you for just throwing yourself into the work and taking all tasks head on! You are priceless!

Yesterday we were a group of 30 young people and some adults, who got to see Humans 2.0 by Circa. They were an incredibly talented group, it was impressive to see their unity. They threw each other into the air, received human pyramids and hung from ropes on the ceiling. It was unnerving to watch, but they were in complete control. Imagine being able to trust each other so fully?!

We have to thank the Kavlifondet for getting tickets to the party games, thank you very much. Everyone was very pleased with the fine performance. Unfortunately, you do not have any photos or videos to post, this is because your safety is of course the most important and therefore no photos/videos are allowed. On 21 May, the Åsaneløpet was in full swing. We had good participants who previously ran the tunnel race in Fyllingsdalen, who now wanted to take part in the 5 km Åsaneløpet. Good times were had. Nice that they wanted to challenge themselves with new press and new times. We're rooting for them! We look forward to further competitions.

It was a super day with several young people on Saturday 15.04.23. There was a celebration for the opening of the new walking and cycling tunnel that runs from Fyllingsdalen to Kronstad. On the occasion of the tunnel run in Fyllingsdalen, we decided in Springbrett to pay a fee for those who wanted to run. T-shirts, jumpers and bib numbers were distributed to excited participants. Some chose to run 3KM and some ran 5KM. Two of our youngsters also got 2nd and 3rd place in the category under 20 women. It is incredibly impressive. We are proud and happy that we got to spend time with them. There was also a lucky pig who won a waffle iron, which was drawn from the starting number.

We have 3 new swimming courses in full swing already. There is a beginner's course for girls, a beginner's course for boys and an advanced mix course (both girls and boys).

Swimming lessons are incredibly important and one of our hearts, that young people should be offered swimming lessons. It is particularly important as we in Bergen and Norway are surrounded by water and the sea. You usually always know someone who has a boat, or you are going swimming on a friend's trip. Sometimes it can have disastrous consequences if you are not good at swimming. Thus, it is one of our heart matters. In particular, there are vulnerable groups who have never been offered swimming courses for various reasons.

We also ask that those of you who sign up in the future, to the greatest extent possible, line up for all times, as there is a great need for such courses and waiting lists.

Hamed is 16 years old and came from Iran in October 2021. He participates in most of what he gets time for in Springboard for ungdom. At the weekend, he goes to Sandefjord to shoot for a medal in the junior NM in archery.

It was a super day skiing, organized by our UR. The young people took the train up to Voss. There were many excited and fine young people at Voss to go skiing. UR had fixed equipment for everyone who did not have equipment. It was a super day and luckily the weather was on our side. There was a varying level of who could ski from before or not. It didn't do anything, and we got good help from 2 volunteers from our partner Visito. They helped several young people throughout the day.

All the young people got pizza at Peppes in the center of Voss, before taking the train back home.

It was a great day spent at the Swedish Public Works Council in the city. The Youth Council of Springbrett arranged and planned all the activities.

The activities were puzzle races, kahoots, potato races, tug-of-war, competitions and small prizes that some lucky winners took home.

Springboard for ungdom organized this year's elf race on 18 December in collaboration with Oasen Senter. It was a successful event with 30-40 little runners from 3 to 12 years old. In addition to the race, we had gingerbread decorating and the opportunity to buy Christmas porridge for the enjoyment of both young and old.

The race is for all children who wanted to participate. The run is approx. 400 meters and goes in a loop at the centre. The children received a medal after completing the race and crossing the finish line.

The Christmas holidays are approaching!

The Christmas tree is lit in the school canteen and the Christmas atmosphere has descended on Fyllingsdalen vgs. Today, the theater group had its last rehearsal in 2022. Where the young people had the opportunity to plan and be creative. The ending with the gang exceeded all expectations and the young people

Free skating day was organized at Iskanten on the West Coast where 15 young people had the opportunity to participate in games and fun under the auspices of our Youth Council. It was a fun day on the ice, where the participants experienced coping experiences and togetherness. After a few good hours on the ice, the youngsters went to eat pizza.

Springbrett for ungdom people's theater group has a completely unique collaboration with Fyllingsdalen Vgs. The participants have got off to a good start with the group and have begun to get to know each other better. On 8 December, the young people had a pleasant opportunity to see a theater performance with music, dance and drama that the first class at Fyllingsdalen had put on about Romeo and Juliet.

Today we had the start of our own theater group in collaboration with Fyllingsdalen vgs.

10 creative young people came to the information meeting. Drama teacher Rolf Eriksen started getting to know each other - exercises and lots of laughter.

We have room for more, come to the canteen at Fyllingsdalen VGs. Every Thursday 15:30 - 18:00.

Our youth council organized Fangene på fortet on 26 November. There were around 35 young people who participated. It was completely full after we posted the registration. Everyone was divided into teams and we ended the day with pizza, soft drinks and slush. We've been to the prisoners at the fort before, and it's always just as fun to be there. There is something to suit everyone, as some require brain training, while other rooms are more physically demanding.

Make it Sound

During Saturday and Sunday, the participants worked in groups across backgrounds and identities. They wrote and produced songs. The participants received professional content about writing, producing music and about the resources young artists have around them.

Along the way, the participants received help and assistance from experienced mentors.

Many of the participants wanted to participate in a songwriting camp before the event, among other things for their inspiration and the artistic part.

​

What significance do you think the event Springbrett for ungdom has for young artists in Bergen?

• It has sparked a lot of inspiration, made contact with other young artists with different backgrounds than himself, the experience of an extra boost, a push in the right direction and an experience of mastery. Something young artists need to create anything at all.

• Some of the participants were unsure whether they were qualified to participate in the songwriting camp, they got the experience of the Springbrett soundcamp, where the focus is on belonging and low-threshold offerings.

thought it important to be able to create a platform where young musicians and artists can exchange musical experiences and learn about each other's culture, background and identity.

Springbrett Soundcamp will be an arena and meeting place where you get the opportunity to work with production and writing together with others who understand the process.

Lack of meeting space for young artists

Many young people lack a meeting place in the form of a songwriting camp, over the weekend we received confirmation that it means a lot to those who have participated. In order to bring out the potential of young artists, we must create greater unity, meeting places where young artists write more music together.

Songwriting camp is an important arena

Where the participants had the opportunity to write freely, work in an intensive and creative way. The young people were given a certain number of hours to write songs and worked effectively in different teams. Through this type of process, the participants were able to challenge themselves and each other. During the camp, the participants, producers and artists created unity, self-confidence, motivation and raised the quality.

A kiss for all the world Fargespill is a story about today's Europe that can only be told by the younger people who stood on the Stage yesterday. Fargespiel is, after all, not just a stage ensemble, but the name of a method for how we humans engage in dialogue with each other. Through the performers' history and communication skills, we experienced cultural heritage that was completely unique and magical.

Thank you for a super wonderful day at paintball on Saturday. There were suddenly many more young people than expected, but both the youth council in Springbrett and ActionZone Bergen took this in stride! There was speed and excitement and a good number of young people who have never tried anything similar. A few scrapes and bruises showed that people gave it their all in the rounds. We hope that everyone can get a little better at registering on time, so that we avoid long waiting times and that we in Springbrett and the places we visit have enough staff to welcome all of you young people.

Hi all. In collaboration with our partner Fyllingsdalen upper secondary school, we at Springbrett have been fortunate enough to have entered into a collaboration with Erasmus +; which is a European international collaboration.

We have had a whole week together with people from Portugal, Greece and Spain. It has been incredibly fun, with highly professional content, presentations, workshops. It was also time for some relaxation in the afternoons to show off Bergen and Norway to our guests who come from other countries.

The collaboration aims to find good and better solutions for SEN (Special Education Needs). That means all types and forms of adaptation. It is to try to find out how everyone can be included regardless of economy, ethnicity and religion.

Someone from Springbrett will also travel down to Tenerife in December to continue the work with all the participants from the different schools and countries.

Hello everyone and thanks for the last one.

The visit day was organized on 10 September at the joint work in Bergen. It was an incredibly successful day with many young people there. The vast majority were registered in advance, but we also had a few drop-ins.

The plans and activities for the day were clear. Grafitti, microbit, beading and VR glasses. In addition to shuffleboard, billiards, ice hockey etc. Perling became one of the big favourites. Delicious takeaway grilled food with vegetables and fresh naan bread. All participants also received a goodie bag.

The event lasted 5 hours and it was not easy to get everyone to leave when the event was over. It is interpreted as a very good sign. The day ended with a prize draw.

We are incredibly grateful and proud to have the wonderful Visito as our partner. They really worked hard, and created an incredible event that many young people took advantage of.

Major investment in giving boys more swimming skills through courses to increase competence.

​

We are so incredibly lucky to have 2 parallel swimming courses for boys running at the same time. We know the importance of being able to swim in Bergen, which is a coastal city. There are also pools, lakes, water, docks and other places that can potentially be a danger when you can't swim. There is also a big difference between being safe in a pool and being able to swim in the sea and on the open sea. Cold, waves and other unforeseen things can help create panic and dangerous situations if you are not confident about swimming. We also know that Norwegian training is often prioritized over swimming training. Many have never had swimming at school, and have not learned to swim even if they have become teenagers or young adults.

This is something we want to do something about and we will continue to have separate courses for girls and boys.

This year's Horisont Games 2022 were successful for young and old. Horisont invites all children to a day full of sports games, fun and excitement out on the square in collaboration with Norna-Salhus.

The children received their own starting numbers, and a prize for good effort.

The young people had various tasks which they all mastered in an incredibly fine way. The collaboration with IL Norna-Salhus gives the young people voluntary work and the opportunity to spread joy to young and old.

We are so lucky to still have the well-known Master Cho with us, and we have close collaboration with TTU. We are looking forward to the continuation and seeing the girls take more new belts and rise in the ranks within taekwondo.

Summer-fun 2022 The last week of the summer was held from 25 - 29 July. And what a week it was!

Every day we had between 20 and 30 young people with us, some from the summer school, some from the summer offers and some completely new. There were 5 days of climbing, High and Low, Prisoners at the fort, BBQ trip to Nipedalen, bowling and Go-cart.

​

It is fantastic for us to see how the young people interact, look after each other, form bonds and give us feedback that inspires new and strengthened efforts this autumn.

Summer activities with Springboard for youth 2022. A successful week has ended with a basic traffic course, songwriting course and photography course.

​

We have had 16 young people who have completed and passed the basic traffic course. We would like to thank 7fjell traffic school and Kristoffer who always manage to turn dry theory into something exciting and educational. Then it will also be easier to remember. He combined theory and practice hand in hand.

We have had young people on songwriting courses who have collaborated with well-known and high-profile artists/producers such as Hannah Storm and Edvard Tronstad. They were incredibly skilled and created good cohesion in the group. That led to 4 demos being recorded and made. In addition, the songwriter group was visited by the talented manager Geir Luedy from Made management. 8 self-composed texts were also created during the week. Hannah Storm also finished her contribution with a lovely song for the whole assembly.

​

On the photography course we had Roj Ferman who is a skilled photographer and music video director for some of Bergen's great artists. He learned a part of his knowledge, about how to take good pictures both with a mobile camera and with a system camera with different lenses. Cool and exciting photos were taken which they were able to edit themselves, and finalize during the week with help from Roj.

On the last day, a rebus race was organized together with all the activities and the summer school. It created great organization and competitive instinct. There were activities such as building the tallest tower with spaghetti and marshmallows. Kahoot was conducted. We also had sack races, crosswords, different human pyramids in groups, and brain teasers. A number of prizes were awarded to the participants on the last day as well.

We would also like to say a big thank you to everyone who worked hard to make this week possible.

Springbrett for ungdom + Fyllingsdalen high school = True

The first week of free summer school has ended and what a week it was!

With funds from Bergen municipality and other supporters, this year we linked the summer school to our own summer activities in collaboration with Fyllingsdalen upper secondary school. The summer school gathered students for Norwegian and English for students with a short stay in Norway. 25 of the participants were Ukrainian pupils from Tertnes and Lynghaugparken. In total, we had 40 young people at the summer school, from secondary schools, upper secondary schools, the introductory program, but also ethnically Norwegian.

​

Our collaboration with Fyllingsdalen Videregående Skole has made it possible to organize a summer school in Norwegian and English in 2022.

​

At the end of the day yesterday, one of the Ukrainian students stood up, gave a speech, and said, among other things: "You have given us a week of subjects and experiences where we got to feel together and where we got to smile and laugh again together with you." It warmed.

​

Our dear chairman was to give a lecture at the Vestland Volunteering Conference in Sogndal on 18 June. The conference lasted from June 17-June 18. Thus, we also sent a representative from the board. It was a content-rich and educational conference. It was very nice to see so many committed people doing so much good voluntary work. It was a touching post from our chairman which you can see here for up to 2 weeks afterwards.

Three of our young people were able to participate as "trainees" during Bergenfest 2022. There they got to work for a few days, and they were also lucky enough to be rewarded with a few days off and tickets to Bergenfest. Unfortunately, we do not have photos of all the young people at work, as they were stationed in various places and were busy with work. We just want to say that we are incredibly proud of the young people who did a fantastic job.

We are also very grateful for the collaboration with Bergenlive, so thank you very much!

It is allowed to be creative in life and it is important that children and young people have as good musical experiences as adults.

Mediation of music must be an attractive offer for children, young people and for several musicians, composers, arrangers and producers. We are proud that we have arranged for children and young people to gain artistic powers and the opportunity to present their works in public arenas and meeting points where children and young people gather and seek belonging.

We are proud of two talented participants who we have taken part in several activities. They have come this far by participating in the songwriting courses this spring. Now they have created a self-composed song together with producer and singer-songwriter Monika Engeseth. 10 weeks of testing and learning, the breakthrough was the song Bonnie $ Clyde which is current on Uhört now. The artist name of the two promising participants is MIVA unheard of.

WE hope everyone will take the time to listen to their song and cheer on the youth. The joy of following these young, talented girls on is super great.

We are so proud to be able to inform you that 3 of our participants have received new belts in Taekwondo. They have now received a blue belt. It was a great day where the participants got to show off everything they have learned and the grading ended with sausages and cake.

Today was the end of the songwriting course with Moyka. A double course was organized today and the course ended with some food and drink. The young people have created and recorded a song, and we have two young people who have taken part in songwriting courses in the past who have gained even more experience and are developing from time to time.

We must say a big thank you to Moyka, who has taught, given good advice and tips to the young people for 10 weeks. It has been instructive and inspiring to have her as a teacher.

On 7 May 2022, a day full of activities was organized by the youth council of Springbrett. This was in collaboration with the Bergen Red Cross. Snacks and pizza were also served. The day ended with first a strong performance by Michael Opara who performed slam poetry. Then we got a nice concert by two promising young artists from Bergen. Kid ethien and Sl1mpack. They lifted the roof and ended it all with an impromptu fine duet.

The activities on this day were:

• Anybody can Dance - Dance for everyone!

  On the dance course, the young people learned, among other things, basic steps, groove and techniques. Cool combinations that made dancing extra fun.

  A small choreography was performed, which was practiced together with the good instructor Aillyn, who dances hip-hop and Afro beat. Our skilled instructor has, among other things, created choreography for color games.

  Throughout the course, there was a lot of laughter along the way, while you got to develop your dancing skills.

• Catch the Moment - together with Terje Målsnes, he gave tips and advice on how to take good photos with your mobile phone and your own camera. The young people learned new methods for social media. The young people were able to explore the city via the camera.

   

• Youngtalk - The post where you can create your own speech/poetry/slam poetry about things you are passionate about.

  Michael Opara had a magical ability to make the youth open up. There were many tears and strong emotions during the process. Those who took part in the course thought it was an incredibly strong and valuable experience to take part in. There was a lot of focus on how to be "real" and how you really feel. It led to nice, strong and personal stories.

• Paint Your Heart –

  On the painting course we had the talented artist Naysha from Bergen. No prior knowledge was required to take part in the course, but after seeing the finished works of art it seems that the young people had done this many times before.

  Through paint your heart you got a fun and new experience of painting and art, which gave the picture a personal touch.

We would especially like to thank the youth council who are responsible for the planning and execution of this successful day. In addition, we would like to thank Visito AS and Røde Kors Bergen who provided volunteers.

Now there was finally a new grading from some of the participants on the self-defence course. Some ran away with a green belt and some with a yellow. We congratulate them all so much, we and Master Cho are very proud and happy to be able to complete the course.

We are looking forward to more belts.

On March 8, we organized the bowling tournament we were supposed to have in December 2021, but which was canceled due to restrictions. We carried it out in collaboration with Bergen Bowling Circle. It was a successful event with 30 young people. The first round was practice in collaboration with the techniques of the professional and skilled bowler Martin. The second round was a competition, the best three won prizes. The prizes were gift cards. When the game was over, everyone got drinks and food. It was a cozy atmosphere.

We are so happy to have the talented producer, artist and songwriter himself MOYKA! Every Monday from now on, she will come up with inspiration and hold a 2-hour course with the participants for the next 10 weeks.

She is highly sought after and we are very happy to have her on the team.

Finally we got to our first swimming lesson for boys! There was great demand and the places were snapped up quickly. We hope to be able to get funding to be able to offer more such vital courses in the future

The youth council in Springbrett for ungdom must be the mouthpiece and voice of the youth. The young people who are part of the council must bring issues that young people are concerned with to the executive board. The Youth Council must, in close collaboration with the Executive Board, propose activities and offers that young people are interested in. The young people in the council have the right to be heard and included in Springbrett for youth development and have the opportunity to shape the way forward for the organisation.

7 January 2022- We started a new course with swimming lessons at Ado Arena, for girls in collaboration with the Møhlenpris sports team. The places were filled up just as quickly, as with the previous course. We are fortunate to be able to offer and run this course despite the pandemic. There are satisfied girls who experience a sense of mastery, and good feedback from the swimming instructors. We would like to thank the good instructors at Ado Arena and Møhlenpris sports team for being able to carry out such a good and important offer.

The self-defense course for girls started again after Christmas. A new grading is approaching for some of the participants. Work continues hard towards hopefully new belts.

17 December 2021- We were going to organize a bowling tournament at Lucky Bowl Kokstad and had limited places due to corona restrictions. There, the participants were to receive free food and bowling. This event was unfortunately canceled due to the restriction changing and it was no longer allowed to gather. This is something we want to achieve in the new year, when the infection situation is different.

Thanks to the Bergen bowling circle, this was possible, and we will hope to be able to catch up on this day when the infection numbers have decreased.

11 December 2021- 3 of our girls participated in grading and got a yellow belt in Taekwondo. They were allowed to go out to the clubhouse of the Osterøy Taekwondo club. There were a few satisfied smiles after the completed and passed grading.

On 5 and 6 December 2021, one of our board members participated in a conference and celebration of the Year of Volunteering 2022 in Oslo. It was educational with many good lectures and many good tips that were conveyed to the rest of the organisation.
Among other things, we were informed about how we as an organization could apply for funds to carry out the marking of "Our Day" in collaboration with another actor. This is now being planned together with our Youth Council in collaboration with the Bergen Red Cross.

22 Nov 2021- Swimming training for girls began at Ado arena. This was an intensive course that was twice a week until Christmas. Places were quickly filled on the course. We provided burkinis for those who needed them. There was good feedback already on the first day from both participants and the wonderful staff at Ado arena. We know that many people cannot swim and/or are unsafe in water. That is why we wanted to come up with a vital course. We have ambitions to be able to expand to more girls and eventually come up with an offer for boys as well.

We must thank you for the cooperation with Vestland sports council to make this course possible.

8 Nov 2021- Our chairman gave an important speech about the inclusion work that the organization runs and works with. During the Norwegian Sports Confederation's conference on inclusion in sport.

We are proud of our chairman who constantly develops ideas, community and diversity in society.

24 October 2021- Several of the board members and the young people went to Springbrett for ungdom as pallbearers for this year's television campaign. The money went to Plan International Norway's work against child marriage. Every three seconds, a girl is married off somewhere in the world. There was a lot of laughter along the way, despite the pouring rain and storm that day.

2 October 2021 - we invited everyone who had participated during the summer to a reunion, this was in collaboration with one of our partners, Visito. There, the participants had the opportunity to make kebabs, play bubble football, micro-bit, an intensive songwriting course and the opportunity to perform songs they had made this summer together with renowned musicians and producers. The end was a concert by Action the man and beatboxer Sigurd Wibe. Kebabs were also eaten. We would especially like to thank all the good and pleasant young people we had with us. Everyone received t-shirts, drink bottles and a 1-month gift card for TV2 play.

We must also thank Visito who made the day possible, and all the volunteers who pitched in.

The Boys' Campus Conference 2021 September 8

Two of our board members traveled to Oslo to attend a lecture with Guttas Campus to develop additional skills and new ideas.

The conference focused the spotlight on a central social challenge in Norway: Far too many young boys drop out of school, work and social life. Through contributions from professionals from various fields, and not least from the young people themselves.

Some of the topics covered during the conference were:

• Why do most boys have these challenges?

• What are the consequences of this?

• What can we do about it?

...and how are things going with those who have participated in Guttas Campus? What do the guys themselves think about what they need?

The aim of the conference is to promote professional input and discuss constructive approaches to work with boys who are in challenging situations.

In August 2021, self-defence courses/taekwondo for girls began with grand master Cho, which lasted until Christmas, and the girls had the opportunity to graduate, as several did. It ended with proud and satisfied girls who received new belts just before Christmas.

Then we ran the same scheme as we had previously for secondary school pupils, only that this time it was aged 15-25. We had a songwriting camp, a basic traffic course and self-defence. The participants also received a hot lunch every day from various suppliers around Bergen.

In week 29, we had free activities for all young people between the ages of 13-25. It was a week filled with adrenaline and speed. We challenged the fear of heights at Høyt og lavt and the Klarteparken in Åsane. We had a nice summer day with first swimming, grilling, kayaking and social activities before ending the day with bowling. The young people received lunch every day during the activities. We also visited the Bergen go-kart and the young people got a good feel for their competitive instinct. We ended the week with a good atmosphere and pizza at the restaurant.

In week 25 this summer, we had talented musicians and producers from Made management, instructors from Fight&Fitness Bergen and driving instructors from 7 fjell trafik. We then organized a songwriting course, self-defence course, basic training and basic traffic course for 4 days. We used the last day for joint team building and games. The young people received a hot lunch every day from various suppliers in Bergen.
